Here’s what your process would look like in preschools, daycares, or a private school:
Intro Call
An introductory call to discuss OT related concerns pertaining to your student (s). Criteria for screenings and/or consultations provided to determine student’s needs.
Schedule a Screening
Schedule a 20 minute per student OT screening in your facility. You arrange the time; typically interested parents pay a small fee to the therapist. Results and recommendations provided to the school and parent.
Consultation
Schedule a consultation including an OT observation of a student in the classroom setting. Suggestions to make your classroom a more sensory-friendly environment; recommendations provided
Evaluation & Treatment
OT evaluation and treatment available to students in a private school who otherwise may not have therapy services available.
